The Appomattox Town Council will meet with the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors to discuss the U.S. 460 water line on Thursday, 10 September 2009 at the Appomattox County Community Center at 6:00 p.m. This is a public meeting that will entertain questions from residents within the town and county regarding issues surrounding the proposed water line.

There will be an open forum in which the congressman will address questions about healthcare reform and other national policy issues. This will be followed by one-on-one meetings with Tom to get help with federal programs like Medicare, Social Security, or veterans’ benefits. Anyone can sign up for individual meetings and they will be on a first-come, first-served basis. All are welcome.
