Appomattox County Chamber Annual Membership Dinner
[ 29 October 2009; 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] Please join the Chamber for its annual fall membership dinner to be hosted by the Falling River Country Club and catered by The Babcock House. The Chamber will begin the evening with a complimentary social hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m. Formal invitations will be mailed to all current Chamber members & invited guests.
Last Cheerz of the Season Slated
[ 9 October 2009; 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. ] The Appomattox Cheerz season will draw to a close with the “Southland” band playing for the Appomattox Railroad Festival kick-off.
3rd Quarter Appomattox County Chamber Member Luncheon
[ 24 September 2009; 12:00 pm; ] The Chamber will host its 3rd quarter member luncheon on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Noon at Appomattox Community Center. The luncheon will feature box lunches from the Babcock House. Box lunches include sandwich, side salad & cookie. Sandwich choices are: Appomattox Station Club (ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar & provolone cheese, lettuce & tomato on 7-grain bread) OR the McLean (tarragon chicken salad with lettuce & tomato on kaiser roll). Side salad choices are: pasta salad OR fruit salad.
Appomattox Water Line Meeting – Public [UPDATE]
The Appomattox Town Council will meet with the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors to discuss the U.S. 460 water line on Thursday, 10 September 2009 at the Appomattox County Community Center at 6:00 p.m. This is a public meeting that will entertain questions from residents within the town and county regarding issues surrounding the proposed water line.
